      its when you get something to work that gives you answers to questions…and the answers are what you were hoping they would be and it proves your theory!

      Discovering something new that nobody has ever discovered before is pretty good. I found a gene in zebrafish that no-one had found before. I looked at which cells turn on that gene and how it is controlled.
      finding a pattern in lots of data and Working out what it means and how you can use it to make health services better for lots of people is good as well. Jo

      I love finding out new exciting things and then telling people about it at conferences, especially if the conference is in a nice country! Last year I went to Chile and before that I went to Japan!
