      I always hoped i would be in a job where i was happy and i anjoyed it – so i guess, yes i did – but i have to admit i never really had much of a clue while i was in school (or even uni) what i wanted to do exactly

      In a way yes- I always thought I’d like to be doing something in medical research but I get bored relatively quickly so I don’t know if I’d have been any good at sticking at things like the other scientists have. In my job I look at almost all areas of medical research so I guess it’s my dream job-i hadn’t thought of it like that before now so thanks for helping me realise that! 😉

      A few weeks ago I got my job as a lecturer which means I now have my job as a scientist permanently: I do the science I choose to do as well as teach students some of the time. I have dreamt of getting this job for years and didn’t think I would ever get there! I was so excited when i got the job!
