      Hi Coolalo
Nuts are very good for you in lots of health aspects as they contain essential fatty acids.
In terms of anti-cancer properties, there have been reports that the alpha-linolenic acid (one of these essential fatty acids i think) in pistachios (and other nuts) can help prevent prostate cancer
Also, there have been reports that the Vitamin E contained in pistachios can help prevent lung cancer.
Not sure how much research there has been on this though and how much evidence there is to back it up.
If you go to google and type in pistachio nuts and cancer and then hit the google Scholar tab – this will bring up academic research papers on this topic – these will be more scientifically accurate than just articles pulled up on google
