• Question: how frustrating is it when you think that you have a brake through when you dont ?

      Very!!
      If you see an experiment unfolding, and see what you think is an exciting result… and start thinking about what the result might ‘mean’… then analyse the data more closely and realise wasnt what you thought….
      I do that all the time, and its v. frustrating.

      The most important thing is to get the RIGHT result in the end… even if its not the most exciting one!
