      Hi there. MANY!

essentially, thats been the main part of my job for the last 10 years. This afternoon im doing one on eggs to test whether a certain molecule is important for eggs to sort their chromosomes into the correct cells when they divide. Ill watch an egg divide normally on a fancy microscope, and watch the chromosomes move… then take a second egg and see if the same thing happens in the presence of a special drug we have which ‘inhibits’ (stops) the protein we’re interested in —

no one knows whether this protein is important for this… and… unless something goes wrong…. illl know the answer by teatime….

then ill go watch the fotball
