      My favourite thing to do at work is when i get to teach students – I really enjoy the teaching part of my job

      Well the big thing I like us the point when you think’ yes! I know how we could sort this’ and what was a load of confusion and argument starts to turn into a service that will help people get better
      But if you mean what do I like that happens everyday then I do like opening the e mail folder because I always think that someone I like may have sent me a message in amongst all the less interesting things- and sometimes they have :).

      Turning lots of seemingly random data into something meaningful by apying the right analyses. Very satisfying to get an answer from something initially v unclear. Jo

      I like meetings with my students. I like making sure their experiments are going ok, and helping them where I can. I love getting data also — when an experiment works and you see a nice clear answer to the question you were askig you get a bit of a buzz

      I like looking down the microscope at the placenta cells I have grown and seeing that they are all healthy and growing nicely! It seems so weird that I have actual living cells growing and functioning as normal in my pot!
