Out of work when my kids were born. I thought I did welll not to bash anyone over the head during labour 😉 I was pretty chuffed when I got an anonymous bunch of flowers too

Proudest thing – i think it was presenting at a conference where i got really really good comments and questions and other scientists were really interested in my work and thought it was good – that did no end of good to my levels of confidence and made me realise that I did good science and i should have more faith in my abilities!
Proudest non work related – gosh…hmmm…it tends to be when my dad tells me he’s proud of me, so there have been a lot like that, but when he’s proud of me, i’m proud of me

My proudest work moment was when my work experience students did their first project on their own and really loved it!
Out of work it has to be when I won the national cross country championships on my New Forest pony!

Proudest work related — I won a prestigeous prize — basically like young reproductive biologist of the year. Because of this I got to give talks about my experiments at two major meetings of reproductiv biologists. was cooool!!

Lowest point — about 6 years ago i moved to a lab where work aws going very slow (not many good results for a while)… and i didnt have many friends in that lab (who you work with makes a huge difference). Was a low period… but came through it ok!
