I’ve done some stuff like this before but face to face. The students seemed to enjoy it and said it changed their view on science and the jobs you can do in it for the better. i think that’s important because it makes it easier to do course work you don’t like or stuff your head for exams if you can think that you have a goal in mind. I slal think it’s important that people have a chance to talk about things like IVF which are scientific but also have other issues for society in them

I thought it would be fun…and it is! it’s great fun, you have all been giving us some brilliant questions! I wanted to help you guys learn what being a scientist is really like as when i was at school no one knew anything about it and i was always told to be a doctor or a vet…I hope this is helpful!

      Hi josh
Well i got sent the link to the advert and i thought it sounded like great fun to chat with school children about my work and find out what they think about science and i thought it would be really interesting to find out how other people view science and research

was suggested by someone at work. i always think that scientists need to ‘get out there’ and explain what they do better.. and i thought this sounded like a nice way to have a go…
