      Hi Riya
The ovaries are found in the abdomen. In women, if you feel on your stomach just below your belly button, thats where the uterus and ovaries are. In women, work on the ovary can be done “laparascopically” where surgeons can work through 2-3 small holes made in the abdomen. To get ovaries out of a woman, a small cut would have to be made through the abdomenal wall, about where i told you the uterus is. I work on the sheep, but it is pretty much the same way to get the ovaries out, – they would be lying on their back, a small cut would be made in the abdomenal wall, just infront of the back legs (just above where their udders are) and the ovaries are in the abdomenal cavity there.
